My Favorite Martian - The Complete Second Season (DVD) Tim O'Hara (Bill Bixby) is a Los Angeles news reporter in this landmark sitcom from the early 1960s. His life is turned upside down when he discovers a crashed spacecraft one night on his way home. My Favorite Martian - The Complete First Season (DVD) MY FAVORITE MARTIAN aired from 1963 to 1966, becoming one of the first in a long line of situation comedies that adopt fantastical premises. The story centered around Tim O'Hara, a bachelor news reporter for the Los Angeles Sun, who stumbles one night across a crashed spacecraft, lockheed martin ion spacecraft and befriends its occupant.
