Orion Spacecraft

Alien Rock Michael Luckman`s amusing efforts to link rock stars to alien activity will be an eye-opener for Elvis fans who have yet to realize that the King originated from a planet far, far away in the Orion constellation--though perhaps not for those David Bowie fans aware of the Thin White Duke`s copious drug consumption around the mid-1970s, when, according to Luckman, he was to be regularly found searching for alien spacecraft through a telescope in his limo. With the enthusiasm of a true believer, Luckman constructs a narrative that, while short on real substance orion spacecraft and long on conjecture, is nevertheless an amusing glimpse at the goofier side of rock stardom (and often of rock fans). Entertaining tidbits are revisited along the way, like John Denver`s unsuccessful attempt to ride on a Soviet space shuttle, while Michael Jackson`s professed desire to do his famous moonwalk on the Moon conjures a more innocent time, before Jackson`s public eccentricities took a less savory turn.
